Great bunch of guys very happy with results
Mgr Will Nobles gets right to the point. Told me how long it's gonna take till someone can look at my vehicle. Once they test drove it and put it on the rack, Will showed me the part that needed replaced. A few hours later they got me fixed up. I learned a couple things about my vehicle, and drove away happy. I’ve been bringing my car here for the past 3 yrs and every time it’s been an amazing experience . It’s not good when your car breaks down but the guys here know what they are doing and they do a great job . They fix what’s wrong with your car and make recommendations about other things before they do anything . They also have financing and other payment options . They say there aren’t honest mechanics anymore , wrong , these guys are professional and do the job right . I think everyone can relate to the fear of being taken advantage of by auto shops and how precious it is when you finally find a shop you can trust. Will and his team at Aamco are model professionals, and have taken care of our vehicles from small to big problems. Today was no different when I thought I had a big problem on my hands with my car not starting. Well, turns out the solution was simple and easy, and Will walked me through the solution in a clear and professional manner. He had an opportunity to fleece me but instead only further solidified the trust I have in his business. If you're looking for a shop you can trust, look no further than Aamco on Stassney in South Austin.

Car problems are stressful, no doubt. Especially for someone like me who dearly depends on their car ! Alas, the team of Will & Co. at this AAMCO location always do their best to fix issues and give you an overall great, no hassle experience. I've always felt like the interactions are honest and very accommodating. If you're feeling iffy about getting repairs done, or just need an oil change, I definitely recommend them!
Fixed pearla in a flash and was able to finance the amount owed so I didn't have to pay it in full up front thank you!
In Austin we all depend on ours cars and there are many many options for repairs. What began with a transmission overhaul lead to other significant work and Will in So.Austin provided superior advice and service thru out involving several non transmission repairs. These guys are the best in Austin. No question about it! Will & his team are very friendly & honest, which is hard to find these days. I always feel like I'm in the best hands when I take one of my vehicles here. I originally found them after a couple years of being bent over by BMW of Austin's outrageously expensive service department. Will has always done right by me and will make the extra effort to source quality parts and save you money where possible. He's won my business for life at this point and I'd never even consider taking one of my cars anywhere else! Keep up the awesome work guys!!

I've had to bring my little 2003 Mazda Protege to this AAMCO a multitude of times now. As I'm not a car guy, I need trustworthy advice from much more capable hands -- that's where AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care come in. Not only do they fix up the issues my car has in record time, they've also provided impeccable customer service and the most affordable rates I can find. The last time I brought my car down they
not only fixed the mechanical issues it had, but they even installed new clips for my front bumper (it was literally being held together by duct tape for the longest time). I was dreading getting this body work done and they managed to take care of it for free!
Although I had to bring my Mazda down for the second time in the last month, I know Will and the rest of his team will take care of me -- just as they always do. Thanks for the continued great service.
Had a transmission issue and radiator issue with my jeep. Brought it in, and got it fixed in about a week. It was expensive, but still cheaper than going somewhere else for a new transmisson. Had another issue with the radiator a few days after I picked the car up. They fixed it for free within the day. Would definitely reccomend this AAMCO.

From the second I called AAMCO, Will was very friendly and personable over the phone. Through my worry and frustration, I was actually feeling pretty at ease after getting off the phone with him. A couple days later, I arrived for my appointment and there was Will with a big ole smile on his face and ready to help. I cannot say enough great things about AAMCO off Stassney - not only are they professional and efficient, but they made me feel so comfortable. My car is back to working order and it didn't even take forever! You can tell they all really enjoy getting to know their customers, and are very honest about their work and price. I never felt like I was getting taken advantage of (like I have at other places), and in fact, they really tried to help me where they could. I greatly appreciated everything they did and I will forever be a customer now!
I want to say thank you to all the guys at AAMCO. I had my car towed in to AAMCO due to a transmission issue. Will was awesome!! He is straight forward and honest about the work that needs to be done. About a week after my transmission was done I had a wheel bearing go bad. I knew that I could take it to Will and his guys and get it fixed without any worries. Thank you again for all the hard work and great customer service. This for sure will be my new go to place to get my car fixed.
Will at Ammco was very helpful. Fixed my Mercedes S550 transmission at a fraction of what the dealership estimated. Lux Limo trusts Ammco for all our vehicles repairs.
So my check engine light came on, and I initially went to my dealership to have it checked out. The wait at my dealership would have been 2-3 hours long, which I did not want to do. I then went to this AAMCO, where they were able to help me immediately, and found the problem quickly. Turns out it was just a stick lodged in my grill. The guys here were super friendly and very helpful. So glad I didn't have to wait! And they didn't charge me for their help. I definitely recommend this place for your "check engine light" problems!
I came in to just get my AC checked out. Was unaware they worked by appointments, but Will was able to fit me in right then and there. They kept me updated on what my car needed and even what it will need soon. Fast, excellent service. I will definitely bring my car here if/when needed. Great customer service, thank you Will.

Had my transmission go out while traveling thru from California, I dropped it off @ 4pm on Monday and got called @ 4:15 Wednesday, today 48 hour on a complete trans rebuild!!!! Go see Will and tell him the Stuntman sent ya.
Will and he's staff are great!! Will took the time to go over prices and maintenance I needed done. Overall no pressure and I didn't get the feeling I was being pushed into paying for more than I needed. Definitely coming back!!!
I was pleased with my timing belt, axle, and power stirring pump repairs. Mark was very easy to work with and wanted to work with me to get my car fixed at a reasonable price, and did a good job on turn around time. There were a couple of minor things that had to be fixed after my initial visit, but he didn't charge me any extra money for it. It's been two weeks since the repairs and my car is running smoothly.
I originally came in to get my oil pan replaced because another place stripped my opening and it was trash. Thankfully they paid for it, so I will not mention their name. Mark struggled with getting a payment from them, but never gave me any trouble.
My husband drives for a living so when the check engine light came on two weeks before Christmas we were in a panic. I was expecting to spend $500 we didn't have just to get up and running again. Boy was I relieved when they handled the problem for less than half that withing two hours of me dropping it off!! Christmas isn't cancelled this year thanks to the guys at AAMCO!! Super friendly, fast service and great rates!

I took my '07 Accord into Aamco for the first time ever, because a close friend recommended them.
I have to say I was impressed with their service! They did a thorough check-up and Will explained everything in detail.
I really liked that I wasn't pressured into any service.

I had issues with another shop doing my transmission I took it here and they were able to fix my issues as quickly as possible, Alex and the team here were also very easy to work with and even showed me in person the issues my car was having and the bad parts that the previous shop put into my transmission. I am very thankful to everyone here!
I had convinced myself I had a head gasket issue on top of everything else going on with my car, they had every opportunity to rip me off but instead choose to be honest and straightforward about what was going on with my car, they were able to explain in full technical detail what was going on in a way that was easily understood. The pricing here is very fair and the work done is high quality
They were efficient letting me know what the diagnosis was. Explained it all to me so I understood what was needed to be repaired. They worked with me on my time schedule and I’m very satisfied with the work performed. If you are looking for mechanics that are trustworthy this is the place to come.
